Ingredients

  • 100 gwhite cabbage, shredded
  • 1 tbsphoisin sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 50 gmushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbspvegetable oil
  • 2eggs
  • 150 gpork mince
  • 15 mlsoy sauce
  • 4chinese pancakes
  • 2garlic cloves, minced

Method

  1. Heat half of the vegetable oil in a wok. Lightly beat the eggs, scramble them rapidly in the wok, and then remove.
  2. In the remaining oil, cook the minced pork until fully browned.
  3. Add the shredded white cabbage, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic to the wok. Stir-fry constantly until the cabbage softens.
  4. Return the scrambled eggs to the wok.
  5. Stir in the hoisin sauce and soy sauce, tossing everything together until completely coated and heated through.
  6. Warm the Chinese pancakes briefly in a dry pan or steamer.
  7. Serve the savory pork mixture immediately, encouraging diners to fill and roll the warm pancakes themselves.
