  • 1 tspbrown sugar
  • 2 tbspketchup
  • 15 mlolive oil
  • 1red bell pepper, finely diced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 150 glean beef mince
  • 1onion, finely diced
  • 150 gpotatoes, diced
  • 1 tbspworcestershire sauce
  • 1garlic clove, minced
  • 1burger bun

Method

  1. Preheat the oven. Toss the potatoes with half of the olive oil, salt, and pepper, and roast until tender and crispy.
  2. Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened, then stir in the garlic.
  3. Add the beef mince to the pan, breaking it apart, and cook until no longer pink.
  4. Stir in the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer everything until the sauce is thick and glossy.
  5. Spoon the rich meat mixture generously into the burger bun.
  6. Serve the sandwich immediately with the roasted potatoes on the side.
