Ingredients

  • 1 tspdried oregano
  • 50 gGreek yogurt
  • 15 mlolive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1red onion, thinly sliced
  • 50 gcucumber, grated
  • 1pita bread
  • 1tomato, sliced
  • 150 gpork shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 1garlic clove, minced

Method

  1. Toss the thinly sliced pork with half the olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it rest briefly.
  2. Prepare the tzatziki by mixing the grated cucumber, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a heavy pan over high heat. Fry the pork slices until browned and crispy on the edges.
  4. Meanwhile, warm the pita bread lightly in a dry pan or toaster.
  5. Construct your plate by arranging the hot, crispy pork slices next to the warm pita bread.
  6. Place the fresh tomato and red onion slices on the plate.
  7. Complete the dish with a large spoonful of the cool tzatziki dip.
