- 1green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 150 gsirloin steak, thinly sliced
- 15 mlolive oil
- 30 gprovolone cheese, sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1onion, thinly sliced
- 150 gpotatoes, cut into fries
Method
- Preheat the oven. Toss the potato fries with half of the olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake until crisp and golden.
- Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan over high heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until soft and slightly charred.
- Add the steak slices to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook swiftly until browned.
- Mix the steak and vegetables together, then lay the provolone slices on top. Cover the pan briefly until the cheese melts completely.
- Scoop the cheesy steak and vegetable mixture directly into the sub roll.
- Serve the sandwich hot with the crispy oven fries on the side.
