  • 1green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 150 gsirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 15 mlolive oil
  • 30 gprovolone cheese, sliced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1onion, thinly sliced
  • 150 gpotatoes, cut into fries

Method

  1. Preheat the oven. Toss the potato fries with half of the olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake until crisp and golden.
  2. Heat the remaining olive oil in a pan over high heat. Add the onion and bell pepper and cook until soft and slightly charred.
  3. Add the steak slices to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook swiftly until browned.
  4. Mix the steak and vegetables together, then lay the provolone slices on top. Cover the pan briefly until the cheese melts completely.
  5. Scoop the cheesy steak and vegetable mixture directly into the sub roll.
  6. Serve the sandwich hot with the crispy oven fries on the side.
